On social media I usually stress the importance of strength training to get strong(er).
I heard some years ago that stronger people live longer.
Grandpa & grandma were tested using grip strength.
Yup!
Crazy I know.
Your not going to ask a group of “mature adults” to deadlift for a study on longevity.
BUT, I had never heard this statistic before.
A 250% increase in all cause mortality because your physically weak.
That number is CRAZY high.
